Here is another 3D print project: some stylish storage boxes to keep your house tidy while giving some style to your room!
I have three you kids at home, and keeping our living room tidy can be a bit of a challenge. We needed a solution to keep the little toys, drawings pencils etc. stored neatly but still within reach at anytime.
So I designed these storage boxes, with dividers inside to sort the toys by category.
To give them some style, I wanted the dividers to be a separate piece that could be printed in a different colour than the body of the box, why not the same colour as the lid for example.
Loving the result, and my kids too!
I printed 2 boxes, one in black, another in white, and the kids love rearanging their little things in it everyday. A life changer.
The printing bed of my 3D printer is 300 x 300mm, so I maxed out the proportions of the box to try to use as much of the printing bed as possible
But for smaller printing beds, I reckon the models could be scaled down by a maximum of 65% of the original size without issue. Haven't tried but it should be fine.
